Three Sheets Rum is made by Ballast Point Spirits of California from a base of sugar cane rather than the farm more common molasses and strikes us the French style of rhum agricole (or Brazilian cachaca) and tends to signal a grassier, earthier spirit. This is their spiced version of that same rum... something they say the "tiki gods asked for." They use vanilla bean, coconut, orange zest, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper, and cinnamon.
This looks like a drier style of spiced rum as opposed to the heavier sweetened versions prevalent on the market.
